Meal Plan Options

Students who live in the residence halls must participate in one of our three flexible meal plans. For each plan, you begin the term with a specific number of meal plan points on your Jaypass (student ID). You may use those points at the dining hall, the E.C. Grille, or Seattle's Best Coffee Bar. Additional points may be added to your plan in $50 increments. Points left on your Jaypass at the end of the term are not refunded.

Plan 1: The E.C.Light
Plan 2: Standard Plan (Basics)
Plan 3: The Bluejay
J-term Plan

Plan 1: The E.C. Light
Plan 1 is designed for students who eat fewer than half of their meals on campus. Providing about 10 meals each week, this plan works well for students who leave campus most weekends.

Points: 1,016
Cost: $1,278 per term

Plan 2: The Basics
The standard plan is designed for students who require some flexibility in their meal plan. The College recommends this plan for most students, and uses it in calculating financial aid. The plan offers 11 to 14 meals a week.

Points: 1,423
Cost: $1,685 per term

Plan 3: The Bluejay
Plan 3 is designed for students who eat most of their meals on campus. This plan is designed for students who eat all their meals on campus. It provides 15 to 19 meals each week.

Points: 1,966
Cost: $2,228 per term

J-term Plan
Students living on campus during January Term must purchase a J-Term meal plan.

E.C. Light  Points: 151
                Cost: $250

Basics       Points: 331
                Cost: $430

Commuters, Apartment & House Residents
Commuters, as well as apartment & house residents, may put commuter meal points on the Jaypass in the Office of Student Accounts.  Points on this plan may be used for meals on campus.  Points carry forward to the next term.  You may charge the transaction for the points to your student account as long as your account is in good standing.  Any monies remaining at the end of the academic year will be refunded to the student account.  Additionally, Elmhurst Terrace residents in College housing receive 150 dining points on their Jay Pass which are only usable in Chartwell's venues - the main dining hall, the E.C. Grill in the Roost and the coffee bar.
