Intercultural Student Affairs
At Elmhurst College, intercultural students find a welcoming attitude and a celebration of ethnic, cultural, and racial diversity.
Elmhurst’s Office of Intercultural Student Affairs fosters an appreciation of different heritages through a variety of programs and activities. For example:
- Our monthly newsletter, B.R.I.D.G.E.S., presents a variety of perspectives on diversity through student-written stories, plus news you won’t find in the mainstream press. [More]
- The “World Matters” video series presents thought-provoking documentaries and fosters discussion of diversity issues. [More about events]
- Our annual Intercultural Retreat invites students to spend two days exploring issues of diversity and how to create a better world. [More about events]
- Ethnic heritage celebrations include Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American Awareness Month, Black History Month, and Asian Heritage Month. [More about events]
