E. Byron Spencer
Insurance expert E. Byron Spencer will give an overview of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, on Wednesday, January 16.
Spencer will discuss what parts of the federal health care law already have been implemented, their impact so far, and what is expected to happen as the law becomes fully implemented over the next several years. New Healthcare Law Basics is presented by Elmhurst College and Elmhurst: College & Community.
Spencer has more than 35 years of experience in business and personal insurance, including 10 years managing a large commercial carrier's association division with $650 million in premiums. He is president of Norman-Spencer, Inc. and also serves as CEO of Norman-Spencer International, a commercial property and casualty insurance services firm based in Lombard.
