These services and fees are only applicable to Elmhurst College students and employees.

The Serenity Room
You are invited to The Serenity Room in the Wellness Center (Room 001), a restorative space where students, staff, and faculty may pause in quiet to relax, reflect and renew.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is used in a variety of ways both as an adjunct to medical treatment and also in the promotion of health and wellness. It is the manipulation of the soft tissue of the body with the goal of imparting a desired result: relaxation, pain relief or even self discovery. (Visit www.massagetherapy.com for more information.)
Please note: Do not schedule a massage when you are feeling ill as massage may aggravate your symptoms. Any serious injury or condition should be cleared for massage therapy by your physician.

Table and Chair Mini-Massage for Special Events
Table Mini-Massages (15 minutes each) can accommodate three students/employees per hour. A separate, quite space is need. Payment may be made by individual, organization, department, or divided between the two. A two hour minimum per event is required at a cost of $50/hour.
Chair Mini-Massages (10 minutes each) can accommodate 10 students/employees in two hours. Two hour minimum per event is required.
Healing Touch
Healing Touch is a relaxing, nurturing, energy therapy. Gentle touch assists in balancing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing Touch works with one's energy field to support the body's natural ability to heal. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care. Appointment and Cancellation Policy
You may schedule an appointment by coming to the Wellness Center or by calling (630) 617-3565.
To avoid being charged $15, please provide four hours' notice for cancellation by calling the Wellness Center.

Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster Workshops
The participant in this workshop will learn mind-body techniques to feel calmer before surgery, have less pain after surgery, strengthen the immune system, reduce side-effects of chemotherapy and radiation, and recover faster. (Visit www.healfaster.com for more information.)
Cost: An individual workshop costs $75. This includes the book Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster and its companion relaxation/healing audio CD. A family member or friend may accompany you for free.
Scheduling: Call the Wellness Center (630) 617-3565 to schedule an appointment. Ideally you should take the workshop one or two weeks before your operation or treatment. However, if you only have a day before, you can still benefit.
About your Wellness Practitioner
Donna Kline, RN, BSN,LMT, CHTP offers numerous tools to enhance your well-being –massage therapy, Healing Touch, meditation & breathing techniques, creative visualization, pain & stress management, wellness presentations and surgical preparation. She is a registered nurse, licensed massage therapist, and Certified Healing Touch Practitioner with over twenty-five years of experience in the medical field in a variety of settings working with various aged groups. Having herself experienced body-mind therapy, Donna decided to bring its benefits to others. She graduated from the Wellness & Massage Training Institute in Woodridge, Illinois in 1998 and is certified by Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. In 2004, she became certified in Healing Touch. Donna is a member of Healing Touch International, Healing Touch Professional Association, and the American Holistic Nurses’ Association. A lifelong seeker of wisdom, she has studied with various renowned healers including Caroline Myss, PhD at the CMED Institute. She is a descendant of Iowa farmers and has always drawn peace and strength from nature. She is honored to bring her services to the Elmhurst College family.
