Alumni Association Board of Directors

The Elmhurst University Alumni Association Board of Directors (Alumni Board) consists of a group of dedicated alumni volunteers who work closely with the University’s Office of Institutional Advancement to represent the interests of alumni across the University, sponsor programs and events, facilitate networking, and more.

The Association also bestows several awards that honor the passion, commitment, and achievement of students, alumni, and faculty of the University.

All alumni will be considered for open seats on the Alumni Board regardless of their geographic location.

Philanthropy Committee. The Philanthropy Committee shall work in conjunction with the President and the Office of Institutional Advancement to coordinate service projects and support fundraising efforts of the University and Alumni Board. Non-members and members of the Alumni Board can serve on this Committee.

Membership Committee. The Membership Committee recruits, interviews, and votes on nominees for membership on the Board, making reasonable efforts to insure diversity on the Board. The Membership Committee shall coordinate the renewal of Director’s terms and review nominations from the Directors for Emeritus Board Member status annually. Must be a current or Emeritus member of the Alumni Board to serve on this Committee.

Recognition Committee. The Awards and Scholarships Committee shall work in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement and coordinate the selection process of the recipients of all recognitions awarded by the Alumni Association, including the Senior of the Year Award and Alumni Merit Awards. Non-members and members of the Alumni Board can serve on this Committee.

Engagement Committee. The Engagement Committee shall create and implement, in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Advancement, events and activities to engage and encourage the active involvement of alumni. Non-members and members of the Alumni Board can serve on this Committee.
